Paul Myruski

(Clarinetist)

 

A life-long resident of Orange County, Mr. Myruski resides in Greenville, New York. He holds an Associate of Arts in Music from Orange County Community College and a Bachelors of Arts in Music Education from the University of Houston. Mr. Myruski earned his Masters in Music—Clarinet Performance from the State University of New York-Binghamton.

Mr. Myruski has an extensive performance resume.  His military band membership includes the West Point Band and the 199th and the 42nd Infantry Division Bands. In terms of orchestras, Mr. Myruski performed with the Highlands Symphony, the Delaware Valley Chamber Orchestra and the Tri-Region Opera Company. Mr. Myruski was also a longtime member of the Quintet of the Highland Symphony, the Ill Winds Quintet, and currently the Hudson Valley Enchanted Winds. Mr. Myruski has also shared his talents with the Florida Legion Band, the Pine Bush Community Band and the Broome Street Wind Ensemble. He currently plays first clarinet with the Rockland County Concert Band and is the principal clarinetist for the Maybrook Wind Ensemble.

Mr. Myruski  taught music at the Angelo Patri School in the Bronx and conducted the Orange County Community College Band as their adjunct evening Band Director. He recently retired from his position as a music teacher at Warwick Valley Central School.
